Comedian and magician hopes to be a TEDx crowd pleaser

A Christian entertainer is set to take part in the launch of a Midlands TEDx conference next month.

Tom Elliott is a comedian and magician with the heart and the call of an evangelist.

Described by Miranda Hart as “Such fun”, Tom has taken his squeaky clean show blending stand-up comedy and tricks, across the UK, in churches, schools, theatres, shopping centres, and now the launch of a TEDx Conference.

TED is a non-profit organisation, with a vision to spread ideas, usually through short talks, across a broad range of interests, ranging from science, to business to global issues.

Having been invited to entertain the crowds, between speakers, Tom says, "I am thrilled to have been invited to perform at the launch of TEDx Wolverhampton. I’ve long enjoyed many TED talks online and it's a delight to now be taking part."

Tom has taken his show to hundreds of churches across the UK, but believes that God has called him not only to use his gifts within the church, but to represent Christ and create conversations outside of the church walls.

With plenty of opportunities coming in for the year ahead, Tom is looking forward to a busy year of traveling the UK, bringing laughter and a message of hope to many. Find out more at
