SOUL Church Norwich celebrates four years
A Norwich church is hosting a fun day with special guest Tim Hughes to mark their fourth birthday.
SOUL Church are getting ready to celebrate all God has done in their four years, with a family fun day called SOUL Fest complete with funfair rides, food stalls, church services and special guest Tim Hughes, reports Network Norwich & Norfolk.
On Sunday, July 8, SOUL Church are inviting city residents to head over to their premises on Mason Road for a fun-filled day celebrating their fourth birthday and giving thanks for God’s favour over the past few years.
The day will include funfair rides, food stalls and live music, plus church services at 10am, 12pm and 5pm – with baptisms at the afternoon service. Special guest Tim Hughes will also be joining SOUL Church for the day.
The Leader of Worship Central and writer of many well-known songs, including Here I Am to Worship and Happy Day, will be speaking in the morning and leading worship at the 5pm service.
Pastor Jon Norman said: “We can’t wait to celebrate our church’s birthday. But we’re not just celebrating that. We’re thanking God for all he has done for us over the years and looking forward to going far beyond in the future.”
Four years ago Pastors Jon and Chantel Norman took leadership of SOUL Church in Catton Grove, which is part of the Hillsong Family group of congregations and was previously known as Norwich Family Life Church. SOUL Church is at 4 Mason Road, Norwich NR6 6RF.
