Bristol: Esther Collective discipleship series for women to launch
The Esther Collective – a leadership and discipleship initiative for women aged 18-30s – is starting in Bristol in February 2018.
Run in partnership with the West of England Baptist Association (WEBA), it features five events which will be held at Nailsea Methodist Church from February to June 2018.
Established by Girls’ Brigade Ministries in 2014, The Esther Collective is an opportunity for women aged 18-30s to be part of a community of women who are discovering and exploring their God-given identity and purpose ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).
Here are some of the things that women who have previously been a part of The Esther Collective have said: "Freeing and empowering is how I’d describe the whole thing"… "Loved the sense of community" … "Esther Collective has inspired me to be more creative and has helped remind me of the gifts that God has given me to use".
Whether studying at University, enjoying motherhood, moving to a new city, battling unemployment or navigating the workplace – whatever their situation, The Esther Collective is for all women aged 18-30s who want to be part of a small community of fun, faith and friendship.
The Esther Collective includes five gatherings over six months, where the women come together to worship, hear from an inspiring woman role model, and be equipped in their different giftings. Participants also receive access to a jam-packed and practical Online Hub, as well as encouragement, support and advice in reading the Bible in a year and finding a mentor.
Joining The Esther Collective costs £250, or £150 for active members of the Girls’ Brigade England & Wales or those from WEBA churches. Visit www.theesthercollective.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to sign up.
