Conference promises creativity and collaboration
Youth ministry Pais GB is planning a conference to connect, create and collaborate in February 2018 ...
Swap is an annual three-day conference held by Pais GB in East Lancashire. It is an ideas-driven conference creating collaboration around the three distinctives of mission, discipleship and study.
At Swap, guest speakers from around the country bring innovative thoughts concerning these three distinctives. Each day includes worship, a keynote speaker and three round-table sessions in which speakers present their ideas for 20 minutes and delegates spend 40 minutes discussing the ideas in their particular contexts.
This 20/40 model provides an opportunity for people to participate in thought-provoking and inspiring conversations, exploring and exchanging ideas with delegates from various streams of ministry and education. These sessions are designed for practitioners in youth ministry, schools ministry and local church leadership.
“It is so exciting to see young people, youth leaders, and people representing their churches, coming to Swap and finding that this is a great place to connect. I can share my thoughts and ideas and find out different ways of doing mission and discipleship. Swap conference is an amazing conference to be at,” says Tim Robertson, Partnerships Director at Compassion UK.
“I’ve genuinely loved being at Swap. Not only are we listening but we get to share our ideas and what’s worked for us in different places as we grow and refine what we do so that we can share the Gospel with more people across this nation,” added Lee Jennings, Head of HR and Training and YFC.
“Swap is an incredible opportunity to be a part of, to learn more, to grow more, to see an impact on more young people in this nation.”
This unique conference will be held 15-17 February 2018. For more information and to book in, please visit paismovement.com/swapgb.
