Essex ninetysomethings hit the high notes over eight decades

A pair of sisters have been singing in their church choir for more than 80 years.

Edna Bright, 91, and Vera Warren, 93, live in Great Stambridge near Southend in Essex, and go to St Mary and All Saints' Church.

Their father was a lay reader at the church and the women joined aged 11 and have been singing every Sunday since.
