One of London's leading night spots is now to be used by an Edmonton-based church who have pledged to host uplifting youth activities at the well-known venue.

The La Face nightclub, situated on the north London suburb's main high street, is now set to be administrated by Dr Abraham Daniel-Joel, leader of Global Miracle Gospel Ministries (GMGM).

Dr Daniel-Joel is keen for La Face, which sometimes drew negative public attention because of the occasional violent incident connected to the nightclub, will become a haven renowned for peace and unity, and a place where young people can meet their friends and attend events that uplift, inspire, break down barriers and facilitate community cohesion.

Dr Daniel-Joel said, "When the opportunity arose to run youth Gospel activities at the La Face nightclub I said yes straight away. It's always been GMGM's desire to reach as many youth as we can and hosting events and activities at a well-known venue like La Face enables us to do so."

He continued, "We want to put on a range of youth events at La Face, fun events as well a run initiatives that will enable young people to fulfil their potential."

The first event that GMGM will be staging at La Face Nightclub is their annual Glow Party on October 31.

The Glow Party aims to provide an alternative event that young people, both within and outside the church, can attend on Halloween Night. It will feature gospel DJs, DJ Kelechi (pictured right) and DJ Selenki spinning the best in gospel music and live performances some great young Christian artists including MOBO nominated artists Faith Child, J Vessel, as well as LZ7, Adam & Kid and Hope Dealers. It promises to be a great event."

The Glow Party, scheduled to run from 7pm-11pm is a positive and safe alternative for those looking to party on Halloween. "It's an opportunity for young people to show the world THE LIGHT on a dark night!" says DJ Kelechi, "Let's turn this night club into a LIGHT Club!"

Pastor Daniel-Joel (right) stated: "It's my belief that the Glow Party sets the tone for the type of events Global Miracle Gospel Ministries hosts at LaFace and that it really will become a focal point for youth in the area and beyond."

La Face will now be run by the Global Miracle Gospel Ministries

The Glow Party takes place at the La Face, 167-171 Fore Street, London N18 2XB on October 31 at 7pm.

Artists taking part are LZ7, Faithchild, J Vessel, Adam & Kid, Hope & Dealers.

Tickets cost £5.
