Conference seeks to equip women to impact society
You Matter More Than You Think is the theme for a new one-day conference hosted by Woman Alive magazine and BRF ...
Many women struggle with feelings of worthlessness that prevent them from achieving their true potential, believes Christian author and speaker Jennifer Rees Larcombe, (right) headlining a new women’s conference in June.
You Matter More Than You Think is a one-day conference for Christian women organised by national monthly magazine Woman Alive and BRF (Bible Reading Fellowship) on 6 June at Christ Church, Woking in Surrey.
“Far too many of us go through life covered with a vague feeling of worthlessness,” explains Jennifer. “It traps us in the mediocre and prevents us from becoming the woman God destined us to be.
“Yet when women genuinely understand their own significance and the impact they can have, the sky’s the limit!”
Other speakers lined up in a day of worship, teaching and ministry include Amy Boucher Pye (right) tackling new ways to pray, Catherine Butcher (left) on how to be a world-changer, sessions on forgiveness with Sue Mills and Melinda Wells (below right), and Sharon Eason on living life in full colour.
Worship will be led by Sue Mills and band, and host/MC for the event is writer, musician and communicator Ali Herbert.
Tickets for the conference (10.30am-4.30pm), which builds on several successful events at the Christian Resources Exhibition at Sandown Park in recent years, cost £25 and can be booked on 01865 319700 or www.brfonline.org.uk/youmattermore/
