The Royal Norfolk Showground this week hosts some 6,000 teenagers, leaders, youth workers and volunteers from across the country for six days of fun, sport, worship, celebration, teaching and outreach at New Day 2014 ...

“There are all sorts of reasons why people should go,” says Joel Virgo, Senior Pastor of Church of Christ the King in Brighton, and leader of the newday team, “it is a total riot! Everyone who comes enjoys it, it is a lot of fun and you are going to get to know new people and build really strong friendships” he continues.

Highlights of the week include, "waterfights, numb bums, life changing messages, outreach, milkshakes, meeting with God, and friends old and new" according to Helen Hodgson from Gracechurch, Bromsgrove.

Newday will also be teaming up with Who Cares? the Norfolk-based initiative that is asking a one question survey “What hurts you the most?” Newday teams will be working with local churches across all denominations and posing that question across Norfolk during the event.

Primarily for 12-19 year olds, the event runs this week until Saturday 2 August and is open to all with full and half day tickets available on the gate.

Newday is a Christian festival which started in 2004, run by Newfrontiers, a worldwide family of churches with over 700 churches in 60 nations.
