Leading mission organisations from across the UK have taken time from promoting their own causes to equip the current generation to make a difference in the world today.
They will be involved in a GO2013 mission-focused festival Healing for a Broken World from 3-6 May 2013 at the WEC headquarters in Buckinghamshire.
Jackie Pullinger, missionary to Hong Kong’s drug addicts and gang members will be joined by Andy Hawthorne, CEO of the Message Trust and Elliott Tepper, founder of Betel as main stage speakers.
“It’s rare that you would find three people who God has used to in such a profound way to heal our broken world,” said Gospel for Asia Director, Brian Kirik. “The amount of missional experience being pooled to equip believers is almost unprecedented.”
The programme also includes practical seminars, music, lively debate and the Global Village exhibition to help visitors take their next step in God’s plan.
The GO2013 festival is organised in partnership with Christian Vocations, Goldhill Baptist Church, Gospel for Asia, Mission-Net, OM, OMF International, Redcliffe College, WEC International and Wycliffe Bible Translators.
The event is provided free as a ministry to the Church. People can come for one or all four days at no cost. Campsites and meals are provided for a small fee.
