The latest resource for rural churches has just gone live on the Arthur Rank Centre website.
The new material is aimed at developing discipleship in rural church congregations and is for both lay people and ordained ministers. It contains:
- practical resources that can be used in church
- guidance on how to adapt existing discipleship resources for use in rural churches
- case studies
It is a free tool to enhance the mission and ministry of rural churches and will be kept updated.
“Making disciples is at the core of the purpose of the church and it is from this core that churches become mission-shaped,” said Arthur Rank Centre CEO Jerry Marshall.
“This exciting free resource brings together the best rural examples, downloadable materials and guidance on producing ‘home-grown’ material, with an emphasis on the communal and apprenticeship nature of following Christ.”
The material adds to the large library of on-line resources for rural churches at www.arthurrankcentre.org.uk, ranging from worship material to evangelism training to community audits and including links to many other useful sources.
