One of Britain's leading conferences for worshippers, The London Renewal, is marking its fifth birthday by sponsoring 15 free places for young worship leaders aged between 14 and 22.
Founded by Noel Robinson (right), The London Renewal takes place from 31 January to 2 February 2013, bringing together worship teams, singers, musicians and Christian teachers to lead worship, concerts, practical workshops and preaching sessions. The aim is inspire and equip all those involved in worship across London and the South East.
Clive Urquhart, Matt Redman, Graham Kendrick, Lara Martin, Gabriel Eziashi, Nicky Brown, Mark Beswick, Elim Sound, Karen Gibson, Jerry Bonsu, Doug Williams and Jarrod Cooper are among those contributing to the programme.
Host Noel Robinson said: “We'll be opening London Renewal with One City One Sound, a celebration featuring various worship teams on 31 January. It will be followed by two awesome days of preaching, teaching and music ministry which will include practical workshops and evening concerts."
The Renewal event has come a long way since its beginnings at New Wine church in South East London in 2009. It is now held in four key towns – London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester over the course of a year.
“The Renewal has been a unifying force by bringing together people from different church streams to learn, worship and celebrate together, said Noel. “As a result people have been exposed to different worship traditions and enjoy greater fellowship with a wider spectrum of believers.
"Any believer who is keen to draw closer to God, learn more about worship ministry and connect with other worshippers will find attending the London Renewal a worthwhile and enriching experience."
