Mission initiative HOPE is looking for great ideas and stories from local churches to be published in a new resource coming out in the spring.
HOPE would like to hear how churches are doing mission in word and action in villages, towns and cities up and down the country. A selection of these stories will be published in HOPE: The Heartbeat of Mission next year.
“This is going to be the largest HOPE resource to date with an initial circulation of 20,000 copies, said Steve Gee from the HOPE team.
“The aim is that church leaders across the country will be receiving a copy from their diocese or denomination.
“We are looking for great ideas and stories that will assist and inspire the wider Church to engage with their community in mission during all the key calendar moments.
“Maybe you have a fabulous story from an outreach project you did at Easter, a creative Harvest Festival event or some exciting Christmas activities? Have the churches in your areas offered services or reached out to bless the community in a creative or dynamic way? Whatever it is, we want to hear about it.”
