Online training in healing ministry is being launched by the Christian Healing Mission via YouTube ...

Director Rev John Ryeland explains: "So many people in the world are hurting and need healing. In the UK we are blessed through the NHS, but many issues remain unresolved. As Christians, we take the promises of God seriously and know he has the power to bring healing. It is natural for people to turn to their local church for some help but some churches do not yet have prayer teams equipped to offer prayer ministry. Even when there are teams in place, the busyness of people’s lives make it difficult to gather together for ongoing training."

The new online training scheme is available free and easily accessible to people with an interest in prayer ministry. Led by John Ryeland, drawing upon the experience and expertise he has gained during his time as the Director of CHM, the programmes will also feature other leaders in the world of Christian healing, including Charles Whitehead and Rev Dr Russ Parker, with interviews about particular topics that can crop up whilst serving God in this way.

The monthly 30-minute teaching programme will be available on CHM’s YouTube channel, accessed via the website www.healingmission.org. Participants can register for the online discussion forum which will take place later in the month and can submit questions via e-mail in advance or live on the night.

John Ryeland is passionate about encouraging the healing ministry in local churches and averages around 85 speaking engagements each year, at which people regularly claim they have received healing, both physical and emotional. In addition to this outreach, every year hundreds of people come through CHM’s doors in Hammersmith for prayer ministry.

CHM was established as a charity in 1998 and Jackie Pullinger, Francis MacNutt, Jen Rees Larcombe, Russ Parker and others are on its Council of Reference. The Mission exists to make the Christian healing ministry accessible to as many people as possible across the whole denominational and churchmanship spectrum.

People of all faiths and none access CHM’s ministry and training materials via the website, YouTube, Facebook, at its London premises, Skype and in a number of linked churches in other parts of the country.
