The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has appointed Steve Wade as the National Director for My Hope UK with Billy Graham, with the new role emphasising the organisation’s ongoing commitment to the national ministry launched in spring.

The initiative has since seen thousands of churches across the country share the powerful video message of “The Cross” in their communities, churches and cities – with many making decisions to give their lives to Jesus for the first time.

As part of his role as National Director for My Hope UK, Steve will focus on supporting and sharing this ministry across the United Kingdom, as he imparts vision and enthusiasm for the project. He will also build and maintain strong relationships with multi denominational church leaders and key Christian organisations locally, regionally and nationally - as My Hope UK continues to equip, train and provide resources to leaders and pastors, encouraging them in their evangelistic programmes.

Steve Wade says, “I am so honoured and excited to be joining My Hope UK and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. We exist to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by every effective means and to equip others to do the same. Jesus is the only true hope for the UK and my desire is that My Hope will continue to inspire, equip and embolden the Church to even greater levels of prayer and proclamation. I am extremely humbled to be part of this team.”

Steve, who is married with two children, lives in Oundle, East Northamptonshire where he attends Oundle Baptist Church. He also has an extensive civic and business background having most recently been the Programme Director for, ‘Cost to Serve Transformation’ with BT Wholesale.

Steve Rhoads, BGEA Vice President for Global My Hope says, “We are thrilled to welcome Steve to the My Hope UK team. I’m very grateful for his his commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the local church. And we’re anticipating how God is going to move in the months ahead.”
