Free devotional email series Advent Wonder returns again as Christian charity Stewardship invite people to reflect on the generous gifts of the Christmas story ...

Launched by Stewardship’s multi-award winning content team in 2013 and followed by more than 3000 people, Advent Wonder will send participants a new ‘gift’ to ponder and share every Monday and Friday throughout December 2014.

Each biblical reflection will dig deeper into the Christmas message looking to uncover the gifts and sacrifices made by those involved in Jesus’ birth.

Hear of Mary’s obedience, shepherds surrendering their responsibilities, angels reflecting and of the Magi’s gifts of faith. Participants will be challenged to reflect and respond as they are invited to confront their own heart of giving and individual attitudes on generosity.

Debbie Wright, Head of Content at Stewardship explains; “If we look at the Nativity through the lens of generosity, a different picture emerges. This short series will explore new depths from Mary and Elizabeth’s joyous song to Herod’s empty gift. These will challenge our generosity, our time and our motives as we prepare during this advent season.”
