The Passion Trust, the charity that supports and promotes performances of passion plays and biblical drama around the UK, is hosting its third annual conference in London on Saturday (18 January 2014).
Open to all, this year the conference explores future possibilities for passion plays and includes speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, including Hollywood actor Israel Oyelumade (Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Dirty Pretty Things, pictured below); BBC TV star James Burke-Dunsmore, and Sharon Muiuri, a Lecturer in Applied Drama and Theatre who also specialises in working with disaffected young people and adults.
These high calibre speakers will guide delegates with a full day of talks plus a Q&A on their past experience of Passion Plays and how they can be used effectively in communities to bring the words of the Gospel to life.
Tickets are also available for a theatrical production of the one-man Passion Play The Man who Changed the World by stage and screen actor Mark Topping on Friday 17 January, also in London.
