October tour aims to help Christians share their faith

If you’re a Christian who wants to learn more about sharing your faith with your family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and communities – the Acts Now tour is coming!

If you’re a Christian who wants to learn more about sharing your faith with your family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and communities – the Acts Now tour is coming!

This October, Share Jesus International (SJI) will be travelling across the UK taking its Acts Now tour to nine different cities, and hundreds of people interested in sharing their Christian faith are expected to attend.

“As a Christian charity, we are passionate about communicating the gospel using models that are relevant to our ever changing culture,” says SJI Director Andy Frost.

Acts Now takes its name from the book of Acts in the New Testament which outlines how the early Christian Church took off after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The evening will start with worship, followed by an exploration of the book of Acts and some of the inspiring stories of how people shared their faith in those early Christian days. The night will end with practical sessions to help individuals, and churches, engage with their communities to creatively share Jesus.

“SJI is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus, and we’re passionate about doing it through our local churches, so we hope lots of people will come to the tour and be inspired! I love reading the book of Acts and seeing the story of the early Church and I believe that we, as a Church today, are called to this exciting adventure of sharing and proclaiming who Jesus is,” Andy Frost says.

Andy will lead inspiring teaching from Acts, and worship during the evenings will be led by either Tom Read (worship and creative director of the Vine Church in Hong Kong), or Ioannis Dekas (worship leader from Doxa Deo Church in London).

The practical and interactive workshops will be headed by either Marty Woods (Europe Director of Fusion) on how to share the gospel with your local community or Paul Griffiths (Ugly Duckling Company).
