Open Doors Right to Believe Campaign

Buy a Christmas tree and help a charity

Scotland based charity initiative Caring Christmas Trees – the UK’s largest online retailer of festive firs – is branching out with collection points south of the border.

The successful scheme, which donates the profits from its Christmas tree sales to regional charities, is adding four collection sites in south east London.

Customers picking up their trees from sites in Catford, Deptford, Sidcup and West Norwood during the second week of December will be supporting the Jericho Road project, a scheme helping homeless people, run by King’s Church in Catford. The church was shortlisted in this year’s Inspire Awards.

The Caring Christmas Trees website has this year been enhanced with videos, blogs and links to social networking sites, with the aim of doubling tree sales to 9,000.

The trees are sourced from sustainable farms in Scotland.
