New CEO for World Vision UK
After a successful six month period as Acting CEO of the charity World Vision UK, Justin Byworth has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the international aid, advocacy and development organisation.
Said Steve Phelps, World Vision UK’s Chairman: “Justin brings a wealth of experience of the
development sector in both Britain and overseas. There are many challenges ahead and the Board is confident that Justin has the skills, character and Christian maturity to provide inspiring leadership to World Vision UK for the years ahead.”
Justin Byworth has worked in development for more than 20 years in a range of roles across the international World Vision partnership in the UK, Asia and Africa, including heading World Vision’s office in Cambodia. Byworth also serves on the Boards of World Vision Italy and the Christian fairtrade organisation, Traidcraft.
