Website offers creative ways of accessing the Word
Scripture Union, the international mission movement best known for its wide range of printed resources, has launched a website to help more people engage with the Bible.
WordLive allows online users free access to audio Bible passages, video clips, worship songs,
prayer activities and daily Bible readings and reflections.
“Our vision is for every 21st century Christian to be engaging enthusiastically with the Bible and growing in their faith,” says Keith Civval (right), Chief Executive of Scripture Union.
“WordLive engages with today’s generation, who live a lot of their lives online, so we’re meeting them where they are.”
WordLive, which can be used by individuals or groups and is updated daily, was launched on 1 January in response to a 36% growth in internet use in the past five years.
