Flowers and much more at Halifax In Bloom event

A horticultural expert will be the guest speaker at an event jointly organised by Christian group Empower for Life, Halifax Street Angels and Halifax in Bloom next month.

Clive Addison, chair of Wales in Bloom and a judge for both Britain in Bloom and the European Entente Florale, will answer questions about gardening and share his life story, including how God has helped him.

Clive, the former Head of Leisure Services in North Wales will speak about his involvement with In Bloom, of his son who died of  leukaemia aged 19, his wife’s 12-year struggle with ME and his Christian faith.

The evening event, which will also include presentations by local In Bloom entries, will take place on Thursday 3 May at The Raggalds in Queensbury, Halifax starting at 6pm.
